Summary

Based on oodles of feedback over the last years, we’re relaunching the ENTIRE installation flow to allow for more flexibility when it comes to where and how the HAVEN installations are setup. A big part of this is the ability to preconfigure installations in the Pro Portal. This will allow your service company admins or service managers to setup installation details AHEAD of the onsite installation, reducing the time technicians need to spend balancing on the joists of those sweaty-a%$ attics.

Bonus? After the equipment is actually set up in the home, all equipment controls can be edited REMOTELY from the Pro Portal.

We're introducing several new concepts

  • One-step equipment setup + installation recognition:
    • Add in all HAVEN devices and equipment in one step
    • No more resetting HAVEN devices and starting from scratch when making simple modifications to an install.
  • Equipment identification
    • Labels help differentiate between pieces of HVAC equipment for faster selection.
  • Equipment interlocks
    • Suggests building-science-informed equipment interlocks that pair non-blower equipment together with blower equipment for better effectiveness. Or create your own.
  • New automations defaults & equipment schedules (includes new outdoor conditions)
    • Suggests building-science-informed equipment automations. Or create your own.
    • Multi-purpose equipment activations: use the same equipment in multiple automation rules.
    • Custom PM2.5 & tVOC setpoints
    • Create schedules for any equipment, including ventilation equipment! (Humidifiers excluded.)
    • Apply outdoor cutoff ranges for temperature, RH, dewpoint and AQI for any automation rule.
    • View and manage automations, interlocks, schedules and equipment from the Pro Portal.
  • Homeowners can manage all the new automations created.

More coming later in October 2024!

  • Pre-install configurations
    • Set up the install ahead of time to save technicians up to 30% performing the onsite installations.
  • Smart humidity setpoints
  • Adding Ecosense EcoQube as automation input

What does this mean for you, the pros?

  •  Reduced time needed onsite to install HAVEN devices
    • Detail-oriented tasks can be done from the Pro Portal which offers more screen real estate and also the ability to copy and paste contact details from their FSM.
  • Reduced controls-related risk
    • Non-blower equipment that requires circulation to do its job properly now has a path to activate blower at the same time
    • Automations conflicts are identified during setup so pro can correct them
    • Interlocks are suggested at time of installation
  • Improved pro confidence
    • Equipment overview step & equipment nicknames makes it clear which relay is connected to which equipment to avoid duplicates.
    • Automations are suggested at time of installation: they don’t have to start from scratch and define how the equipment should be activated. HAVEN takes this into its hands and helps the pro with tried and true defaults, as tested by our high performance HAVEN Pros.
  • Higher customer satisfaction
    • IAQ and HVAC equipment automations are more flexible can be customized to the home’s specific needs.
