As we've built out our automations options for the Controller, we've chosen to create guided workflows to simplify the setup process, helping Pros to get it right the first time.

Here are our available Guided Workflows:

Workflow: Residential Demand Control Ventilation - 1-Controller

Passively allows for:

  • Increased Filtration (as ventilating dehumidifier's fan is set to run 24/7 to support the HAVEN Monitor's airflow needs)

IAQ & HVAC equipment needed:

  • Ventilating dehumidifier
  • Motorized damper

HAVEN devices needed:

  • 1 Monitor
  • 1 Controller

Actively manages equipment when:

tVOC levels get worse

Humidity levels increase too much

Increase Ventilation when outdoor AQI (pollution) is within acceptable range

Decrease Humidity levels based on high indoor dew point

Increase Circulation when it's not safe to open the damper

Requirements:

  • Ventilating dehumidifier's fan is set to run 24/7 to support the HAVEN Monitor's airflow needs, while simultaneously increasing filtration

Workflow: Residential Demand Control Ventilation - 2-Controllers

IAQ & HVAC equipment needed:

  • Central air handler
  • Ventilating dehumidifier
  • Motorized damper

HAVEN devices needed:

  • 1 Monitor
  • 2 Controllers

Actively manages equipment when:

tVOC levels get worse

Humidity levels increase too much

PM2.5 levels get worse

Circulation is needed

Increase Ventilation when outdoor AQI (pollution) is within acceptable range

Decrease Humidity levels based on high indoor dew point

Increase Filtration based on high PM2.5 levels

Increase Circulation based on Circulation Schedule

Increase Circulation when it's not safe to open the damper

COMING SOON

Workflow: Residential Demand Control Ventilation + Energy-Saving Comfort Mode

IAQ & HVAC equipment needed:

  • Central air handler
  • Motorized damper

HAVEN devices needed:

  • 1 Monitor
  • 1 Controller

Actively manages equipment when:

tVOC levels get worse

Humidity and temperature levels get less comfortable

PM2.5 levels get worse

Circulation is needed

Increase Ventilation when outdoor AQI (pollution), outdoor temperature and outdoor humidity are within acceptable ranges

Improve temperature and humidity levels when Outdoor Comfort Score is better than Indoor Comfort Score

Increase Filtration based on high PM2.5 levels

Increase Circulation based on Circulation Schedule

Increase Circulation when it's not safe to open the damper
