COMING SOON!
Summary
With the intention of providing an enhanced overview of whole system, Pros can now add in all HAVEN devices and HVAC/IAQ equipment per zone in one step when they are installing HAVEN devices.
Starting an install from scratch
-
- First, add a Monitor and the blower equipment its connected to.
New fields include Brand and Model, to help you identify the equipment after installation. Start typing the brand to see if it's a in our database. If it's not, you can still add it as a custom option.
Once you save the new equipment, you can still go back in and edit any details or remove it if you want to start over.
Duct and filter info continue to be required fields for the blower equipment that the Monitor is associated with. When you add in the duct dimensions for where the Monitor is installed, it will prepopulate the filter with the same dimensions. Filter dimensions can be changed independently too.
- First, add a Monitor and the blower equipment its connected to.
- Next, add a Controller (if you are wanting to use HAVEN to automate equipment in the home). The process is basically the same as the Monitor, with the difference that the technician is choosing which relay the equipment will be wired up to.
The equipment that the Monitor is associated with will be tagged as such, to make it easy to select it for controls.
If you've already connected one Controller relay to a piece of equipment, it will be labeled as such when looking at what other equipment can be connected to subsequent relays.
If you want to change which relay it's connected to, you need to remove it in the overview page and then re-add it to the relay you want it to be wired to. - Continue adding Controllers if needed depending how many pieces of equipment you are wanting to automate.
Any further blower equipment that is added will have optional filters. - Once you're happy with how the equipment is set up, click next and you'll have one more chance to review the setup.
- The next step takes the technician through connecting the Monitor and Controllers to WiFi and performing the installation tests, before reviewing the HAVEN interlock and automation defaults. The interlock and automation setups don't have to be completed from the installation location though. The technician can leave the attic/basement/HVAC room and find a comfier spot to review, or even just skip them in the app and edit them later from the Pro Portal.
Opening up an existing dwelling
The beauty of the new installation workflow is that the technician can now pull up previous installations in the app when they are onsite and make modifications without needing to reinstall devices.
-
Easily swap out a Monitor for warranty purposes
-
Connect another Controller
- Change wiring configurations on the Controller relays
Any devices that don’t require changes don’t need to be reinstalled! The only things that will require a reset and further install checks are the devices that are new or where wiring changes have been made. This workflow helps the technician focus on what needs to be done at the installation site!
