You asked: Are any plans to expand the software logic so equipment can be triggered by more than one IAQ event?

We've answered!

Problems solved

Our previous controls were set up in a 1-to-1 fashion: where 1 Controller relay could activate a piece of equipment (for example: an air handler fan) based on 1 indoor condition (for example Indoor Particle levels).

Oftentimes though, we will need to activate the same piece of equipment for other reasons too, like supporting ventilation and de/humidification solutions.

New concepts

Our new system now supports a 1-to-many model and will suggest appropriate uses for the equipment in the default automations setup. These can always be modified though, based on the home's specific configuration requirements. one-to-many-activations.png

Example:

  1. Connect an air handler blower fan to a Controller relay.
    • Allow HAVEN to activate it to support Filtration.
    • Allow HAVEN to activate it alongside Mechanical Ventilation equipment to support Ventilation.
    • Allow HAVEN to activate it alongside a Humidifier for Humidity Control.
