Moving out of a home with HAVEN installed, or moving into one? Our support team handles account transfers for you. Here’s how it works and how to start.
Step 1 — The new owner creates their HAVEN account first
Before we transfer anything, the new owner should create their own account so they choose their own login email and password:
- Homeowners: create an account in the HAVEN app.
- Pro-managed customers: create an account in the Pro Portal.
Step 2 — Request the transfer
Email us to let us know you’d like to transfer ownership, and include the old and new account emails:
- Homeowners: support@haveniaq.com
- Pros (including on behalf of a customer): prosupport@haveniaq.com
Step 3 — We move everything over
We’ll move all your devices, dwellings, and data from the old account to the new one. Nothing else changes—only the account it lives under. After we confirm the transfer, fully close and reopen the HAVEN app to see everything on the new account.
Note. A Pro can request a transfer on a customer’s behalf, but the homeowner still needs to create their own new account first.
Troubleshooting
- New owner doesn’t see the system after transfer. Fully close and reopen the app and confirm they’re signed in with the new account email.
- Haven’t created the new account yet. Create it first (app for homeowners, Pro Portal for Pro customers), then send your request.
